4 eggs
2 cups sugar
5 cups milk
4 cups heavy cream
4 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk
ice and rock salt for ice cream freezer

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs. Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.
(If you are concerned about the raw eggs, you can purchase pasteurized eggs at some stores.)

To make peach or other fruit ice cream, substitute 4 c. fresh peaches, crushed, instead of 4 c. of the milk. Cut down on vanilla to desired amount, (2 tsp. is fine.)

To make cookies and cream, make ice cream as directed and add a package of crushed oreos after freezing. Can also cut down on vanilla if desired.
