2 cloves garlic, minced
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 yellow pepper, coarsely chopped
1 med. zucchini, coarsely chopped
28 oz. beef broth
1 can chopped tomatoes and juice
1 c. frozen cut green beans
1 can chick peas, rinsed and drained
1 c. soup pasta or macaroni
¼ c. coarsely chopped fresh basil
2 c. fresh baby spinach leaves

In a 4 qt. Dutch oven cook garlic and onion in hot oil until tender. Add pepper, zucchini, tomatoes, broth and 2 c. water. Bring to boil. Add chick peas, beans and pasta; return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10-12 mins. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.

Stir in spinach and basil. Remove from heat.

Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
