1 cup softened butter
1½ cups flour
½ cup icing sugar
¼ cup cornstarch

Preheat oven 325º.

Cream butter, add sugar. Blend all ingredients until like whipping cream. Spoon onto cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a cherry piece.

Bake 15 – 17 min.
