1/4 pound butter l/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup oatmeal 3 tbsp flour
1 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten
1 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Mix next 5 ingredients. Add to butter with beaten egg and vanilla. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful on a foil-lined cookie sheet leaving space for cookies to spread (12 per sheet). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to l2 minutes. WATCH! Check after 8 minutes. Cookies should be golden brown in color. Wait until cookies are cool to remove from foil.
