2 bunches spinach
1 c. chopped celery
1 green pepper
green onions with tops chopped
1 can mandarin oranges (drained)
cherry tomatoes (opt.)
candied almonds
4 to 6 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled (opt.)
2-3 boiled eggs sliced (opt.)
1/2 c. sliced almonds
4 TB. sugar

Dressing:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 TB. sugar
4 TB.. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. canola oil
dash Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Stir almonds and 4 TB sugar over low to medium heat until browned sugar coats nuts. Spread on tin foil and cool. Blend together dressing ingredients, heat slightly. Right before serving, add dressing and nuts to salad.
