2 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup Crisco oil
4 T. cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 slightly beaten eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 350º
Sift flour & sugar and set aside.
Bring margarine, oil, cocoa, & water to a boil over medium high heat. Pour over flour mixture & mix well with mixer.
Add buttermilk, soda, salt, vanilla, & eggs.
Pour into 17 x 2 pan.
Bake 1 hour or until cake pulls away from the sides & middle looks done.
