1 cup butter (best with butter not margarine)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, gradually add sugar blending thoroughly. Add sour cream, salt, extract and flour. Mix well. Chill. Taking large teaspoon of dough, roll into balls (1 1/2") and place on greased cookie sheet or use parchment paper. Press balls down slightly with sugar dipped small glass bottom. Best to bake one sheet at a time in center of oven. Bake at 400 º for 10 to 12 minutes or slightly golden on top, not brown on bottom.
