2 cups flour
7 T sugar
1 T baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ginger
6 T cold butter
1/2 C canned pumpkin
5 T half-and-half
1 large egg

Preheat oven to 425º. Lightly oil a baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and spices in a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly and no chunks of butter are obvious. Set aside. In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin, half and half, and egg. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients and add chocolate chips. Put 1/2 - 1/4 cups globs of dough on cooking sheet. Back for 14 - 16 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Glaze with ginger molasses icing.
