1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup small curd cottage cheese
2 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs dried onion
1 Tbs margarine
2 tsp dill seed
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast with warm water and dissolve. Heat cheese to lukewarm, add sugar, onion, margarine, seed, salt & soda. Add yeast & egg mix, then flour. Put on board and knead well and let rise to double in bulk then punch down. Put in pans, let rise to double & bake at 350 for 40 to 50 min. Remove from pans brush with marg and sprinkle with salt. This makes 1 large loaf or 2 small ones. Double for 3 large loaves.
