1 can - 28oz-whole tomatoes-undrained and chopped
1 can - 28oz-diced tomatoes, undrained
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped basil
1/4 cup chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in large saucepan over med heat. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes being careful not to burn.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and bring everything to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 25 minutes - stirring frequently. Stir in basil and parsley and cook 1 additional minute.

Serve over your choice of pasta.
