1 1/2 cups raisins
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 cup sour cream
1/3 to 2/3 cup milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Meringue:

3 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in heavy kettle and cook on medium heat until it thickens, stirring constantly. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue and bake until light brown.
Meringue: Beat all together until soft peaks are formed, then add 6 Tbsp sugar and beat vigorously until holds firm peaks. Spread this on top of hot pie filling and bake at 350 degrees.
