2 pounds broccoli
6 cups water
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons rice wine or sake
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup minced scallions
1 1/2 tablespoons minced ginger
2 tablespoons minced garlic (approx 8 cloves)

Cut broccoli into bite size florets. Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Cook 4 minutes until crisp tender. Drain. Shock in ice water to preserve color.

Combine broth through sesame oil - stir well with whisk.

Heat vegetable oil in skillet, add onions, ginger and garlic - saute 15 seconds. Add broth mixture, bring to boil. Cook approximately 1 minute or until thick stirring, constantly. Add broccoli, tossing to coat for additional 30 seconds.
