4 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
6 slices pineapple
1/2 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. self rising flour
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the four tablespoons of butter in a 10-inch skillet and sprinkle evenly with the brown sugar. Arrange pineapple slices on top of sugar and place pecans between and on top of pineapple slices.
Cream the one half cup butter, add sugar gradually, and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sifted flour alternately with the milk and vanilla, beginning and ending with flour. Pour into prepared skillet and bake in moderate oven (375º) 30 t0 35 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes. Turn out onto serving plate.

This cake can be made with white cake mix. I also add cherries to mine. Makes it pretty.
