3/4 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Cool. Pour into mixer bowl. Add Brer Rabbit© molasses and egg. Beat well. Sift together flour, soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Add to first mixture. Mix well. Chill till firm. Form into 3/4 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in moderately hot oven (375º) for about 9 minutes. Can bake 15 cookies to a large cookie sheet.
