1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix powdered sugar and butter. Mix in eggs, vanilla and almond extract. Measure flour. Mix in dry ingredients. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Roll dough to about 1/4 inch thickness or a bit thicker. Using a cookie cutter, cut out cookies. You may sprinkle a bit of sugar on top. Bake at 375º on slightly greased cookie sheet for about 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Frost if desired.
