1 garlic glove cut up fine
1/2 cup olive oil
2 medium to large onions-diced
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 lb. ground beef
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. chopped sweet basil leaf
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. fennel seed
1 1/2 leaf Turkish basil leaf
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 small cans tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce
1 large can tomatoes (crushed with juice in colander)

Cook first three ingredients in oil until onions start to transparent then add the ground pork and ground beef. Cook until meat loses its redness then add rest of ingredients. Simmer until cooked down

Mrs. Pinn (Bill Swan's Mother) gave me this recipe Of course , I always add other things, but this is a good basic sauce. Serve with Pasta
