1 (9-inch) pie crust
3 eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup pecan halves
½ cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir corn syrup and sugar in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Remove from heat. Add margarine and stir until melted and mixture is smooth.

In medium mixing bowl beat eggs lightly with a whisk. Stir in slightly cooled corn syrup mixture.

Pour filling into crust. Drop chocolate chips into mixture then pecan halves. Get pecans moist with mixture.

To prevent overbrowning, cover edges of pie shell with aluminum foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Chill before serving.

Ed just throws in chocolate chips and rarely puts in the exact amount! This is sinfully delicious! We picked one up at Cracker Barrel one time and really liked it. So over the holidays Ed called to pick up a couple and they did not have any. So we made up our own recipe.
