1 c. flour
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 3-lb. top round steak, 2 inches thick
6 tbsp. oil
1 (28 oz.) can Italian-style tomatoes
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 beef bouillon cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and thyme. Spread half on one side of the steak. Using mallet, pound the flour into the steak. Repeat on other side. Let sit for 30 minutes. Heat oil over medium-high heat in large skillet. Brown both sides of steak. Add tomatoes, onion mix, bouillon and enough water to bring mixture halfway up the meat. Cover tightly and simmer for an hour.
