5 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. half & half
1 tsp. vanilla
8 slices of French bread, cut into 1 inch cubes

Topping:

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. light brown sugar
2 T. maple syrup
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, half & half and vanilla. Dip bread cubes into egg mixture and place in a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350º. In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar, maple syrup and pecans. Spoon over bread cubes. Bake until golden brown, or about 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
