ALFREDO SAUCE
1 T. minced garlic
1 T. butter
1 T. flour
1 pt. cream
2 c. grated Romano cheese
lemon juice

CHICKEN CARBONARA
2 chicken breasts, sliced
1/2 lb. bacon
1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced
1 T. minced garlic

ALFREDO SAUCE
Saute garlic in butter, remove from heat. Stir flour into butter to create a roux, put back on heat. Add some cream, mix until roux dissolves and add rest of cream. Heat until warm enough to melt cheese (do NOT boil). Add cheese and stir until cheese is completely melted. Add 2-3 drops lemon juice.
CHICKEN CARBONARA
Saute bacon, chop and set aside. Saute chicken and garlic in bacon grease. Add onion and mushrooms, cook until mushrooms have softened. Add alfredo sauce and bacon, stir and serve.
