2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla


Frosting:
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
5 Tbsp. milk (scant)
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts (chopped coarsely)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and sugar. Set aside. In a small saucepan, mix butter, cocoa, and water. Bring to a rapid boil. Stir well and pour into flour and sugar mixture. Mix well and cool. To this add buttermilk, eggs, cinnamon, baking soda and vanilla. Pour onto a large greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake 28 minutes at 350º. While cake is baking, mix cocoa, butter, milk and vanilla together. Slowly add powdered sugar until well blended. Add walnuts. Spread on hot cake.
