2 pound loaf sandwich bread, about 24 slices
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 ounces blue cheese, mashed
1 egg
6 ounces bacon flavored bits
24 asparagus spears - canned
12 tablespoons butter or margarine melted

Directions:
Directions:
Roll bread flat with rolling pin. Set aside. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, blue cheese and egg. Beat until smooth. Spread mixture on bread. Sprinkle bacon bits over cheese mixture. Drain asparagus spears. Place one spear lengthwise on each slice of bread. Roll up like a jelly roll around spear. Pinch closed. Place rolls on a heavily greased pan. Drizzle melted butter over each roll. Cut each roll into thirds and separate. Bake in preheated 400' oven for 15 minutes.
