Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I grew up with these cookies back in the dark ages before transistor radio and color televisions. A dash to the cookie jar was the first order of business when I went to Grandma's house. I would make sure that there were plenty of Aunt May's Cookies before stopping for hugs, hellos, or the bathroom. Sunny kitchens and the endless Saturdays of a half century ago flood my mind when I take a bite of one of these cookies.
