1-750 ml cheap vodka
6 large lemons
6 c. water
2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Take lemon rinds off lemons and slice rinds into thin strips. Combine vodka and rinds in a bowl. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 2 weeks. Strain into a bowl. Save rinds in freezer for garnishes.

Combine water and sugar in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring often. Remove from heat anad cool to room temperature. Add to vodka mixture. Pour into glass jug and store in refrigerator up to a year.

Serve over ice cubes straight or mix with lemonade or sprite.
