2-2/3 C. milk
4 eggs
2/3 C. sugar
½ t. salt
½ t. nutmeg
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk in a saucepan. Beat eggs in a bowl, and then add sugar, salt, nutmeg, the scalded milk and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, then 350 degrees for 25 or 30 minutes, or until knife comes out clean. Center may look a bit soft, but will set later. Don’t over bake.
