2 C sugar
2/3 C evaporated milk
1/2 C butter or marg.
dash salt
16 regular marshmallows
1 C chocolate chips
1 t vanilla
chopped nuts (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt, milk and butter or margarine. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes (soft ball stage). Remove from heat and add marshmallows, beating until dissolved. Beat in chocolate chips until smooth, then add vanilla and nuts if desired. Pour into 8 in. square buttered pan.

Any flavor candy chips can be used: peanut butter, milk chocolate, semi sweet, mint flavored, white chocolate, etc.
