2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. soda
1 stick butter
1/2 c. crisco shortening
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa
2 eggs beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla

For Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 T. cocoa
6 T. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Sift together sugar, flour, cinnamon, and soda. Combine butter, shortening, water, cocoa in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture while hot. Add eggs buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well by hand. Pour into greased jello roll pan. Bake 20 min. at 400º. While baking make frosting. In saucepan bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Beat in powdered sugar and add nuts. Frost cake as soon as out of oven.
