1 ring beef or turkey kielbasa or other smoked sausage, sliced
3-4 cans beef broth
1 can sauerkraut
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
1 cup pearled barley
4-5 cups of water

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly cook kielbasa and drain off excess oil. Add mushrooms and stir together. Pour in the beef broth and dilute with water (usually use 4 cans of water). Drain sauerkraut and rinse thoroughly under running water then add to soup. Bring to a boil. Add barley, stir and turn down heat and let simmer until barley is cooked, 30-45 minutes. Season to taste. Add beef bullion for more flavor or water to dilute.
