1 deep-dish pie crust
3 T. corn starch
8-10 med. apples, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 sleeves party round snack crackers
1/2 c. walnut pieces, toasted
1 stick butter
2 T. granulated sugar

Directions:
Place pie crust into deep-dish pie plate allowing crust to hang over slightly. Sprinkle one tablespoon corn starch in bottom of crust and fill with apples. Sprinkle remaining corn starch and brown sugar over apples. Crush crackers and place in a large bowl. Toast walnuts on top of stove in a skillet until warmed through. Add to bowl with crackers. Melt butter and add to cracker mixture. Add granulated sugar and mix. Spread over pie and bake in preheated 375º oven for 50-60 minutes.
