6-7 qts of water.
3/4 c Old Bay seasoning.
2 lbs new red potatoes, small, unpeeled.
36 pieces, 2 inch corn on the cob.
2 lbs smoked sausage, cut into 2 inch pieces.
12-24 onions, small, whole, outer layer removed
4 lbs unfrozen large shrimp, headless, unpeeled.

Add Old Bay seasoning to water and bring to a boil. Add potatoes, cook for about 5 minutes. Add sausage, cook for about 5 more minutes. Add corn and onions, cook for about 5 more minutes. Add shrimp, cook unitil the shrimp turn pink, don't over cook, about 5 minutes. Drain and serve promptly.

This a dish from the coastal area of South Carolina. Folks from other places, like Georgia, claim this dish and call it Low Country Boil.
I like Polska kielbasa sausage, hot smoked sausage is good or other similar link sausage.
Add salt, black pepper, and/ or cayenne pepper at the table if you like.
