1 peg Pillsbury Hot Roll mix
1 1/4 cup very warm water
1 egg
3 T sugar
1 TSR maple flavoring

FILLING:
1 cup sugar
1 TSR cinnamon
1 TSR maple flavoring
1 cup chopped nuts

GLAZE:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 TSR maple flavoring
2-3 T milk


1 stick butter melted

In a large mixing bowl stir roll mix and yeast together. Add 1 1/4 cup very warm water. Stir in egg, sugar and maple flavoring. Place in greased bowl. Let rise until double in size - approve 40 min.

Stir together filling ingredients - sugar, cinnamon, maple flavoring and nuts (not the butter).
Grease 14-16" round pizza pan.

Knead dough on floured surface 2-3 minutes. Divide into 3 equal size balls. Let rest 5 min. Stretch one ball of dough onto bottom of pan. Brush dough with 2 tabs melted butter. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the filling. Continue in the same manner, forming 2 more layers and ending with remaining filling on top.

Use a 2" glass to mark a circle in the center of the dough (do not cut through the dough). Using scissors, cut 24 wedges (1st, cut into quarters, then cut those in half, then make three pieces out of each). gently pick up each wedge and twist it several times then lay back down on pan. Let rise in a warm place until light and puffy - approve 40 min.

Make glaze

Bake at 375 º for approve 18 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle glaze by spoonfuls while cake is still warm. Serve warm or cold

This recipe is the BOMB! You will have everyone raving over it, however it is not for the faint-hearted. You need lots of time and patience and cannot be multi-tasking while doing this.
