"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
line cookie sheets with was paper
mix all ingredients except nuts (you can use a mixer or big spoon)
add nuts and mix into candy dough
Roll candy into small balls (about 2 Tsp. per ball)
Put on wax paper lined cookie sheets and chill (I'm always in a hurry so I put them in the freezer while I melt the chocolate)
Melt chocolate chips and wax in top of double boiler
With a toothpick dip each candy into the melted chocolate and cover the candy. Then put the covered candy back in its place on the cookie sheet. continue until all candy is dipped. The balls dry very fast with a shiny and hard coating. When complete store in the refrigerator until serving. Arrange in single layer on serving dish. I put each candy in a candy holder that I buy in the cupcake section of a kitchen store. I have found these little paper cups at Vons or Safeway too.
