2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until fluffy. Add flour and salt. Add water and mix until dough is smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls into soup. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes. If you add baking powder to this dough the dumplings get lighter and fluffier. These are good in stew or for chicken and dumplings. If you add baking powder don't lift the lid while they are cooking.
