Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups milk
5 cups flour
scant 1/4 cup cream of wheat

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and add other ingredients and mix well. Dough should be like a stiff pancake dough. Heat 3 tablespoons lard in a large frying pan. I find a black cast iron skillet works the best. Pour the batter in to hot lard. Keep turning and chopping with a pancake turner until it is in small pieces. Keep on stirring until all the bits are golden brown.. Usually you will wait a little to long to turn and few pieces get really brown.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a dish that you either really love or really hate. Nick, Jerry and Ray were the lovers, but Gene hated it. In the summer this was served with fresh garden lettuce salad.
