3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs until light. Spoon flour, not sifted, into measuring cup. Level off. Add soda and salt to flour. Add flour to cream mixture while adding bananas and lemon juice. Stir in nuts. Spread in well-greased small loaf pans.

Bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes.
