Three Layer Bars Recipe

1/2 c. oleo
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. finely crushed graham cracker crumbs
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Second layer
1/2 c. oleo
3 T. milk
3 tsp. instant vanilla pudding mix
2 c. powdered sugar

Third layer:
7 oz. pkg. of chocolate chips
1/4 c. oleo

Directions:
Directions:
First layer
In top of double boiler, cook oleo, sugar and cocoa until blended. Add vanilla.
Add 1 egg, slightly beaten. Cook 5 minutes stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add finely crushed graham cracker crumbs, flaked coconut and chopped nuts. Press in 9 x 13 pan. Cool.

Second layer
Cream 1/2 c. oleo until light and fluffy. Add 3 T. milk and 3 tsp. instant vanilla pudding mix. Add 2 c. powdered sugar gradually and beat until smooth. Spread over first layer and let stand until firm. Cool.

Third layer:
Melt chocolate chips and 1/4 c. oleo in double boiler. Spread over second layer. Cut into small squares.
