4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. walnuts

Chocolate frosting:
2 squares chocolate
3 T. hot water
1 T. butter
2-3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Combine margarine and chocolate in double boiler. Add sugar when melted. Add eggs and vanilla. Then flour and salt. Remove from heat. Add nuts. 13x9 pan, 350 oven, 15 minutes.

Chocolate frosting:
Melt 2 squares chocolate with 3 T. hot water over boiling water. Blend in 1 T. butter. Cool. Add 2-3 c. powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Beat in 1 egg.
