1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts

1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites

1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Crust:
Mix and crumble together 1/2 c. butter, brown sugar, flour and nuts and bake in pie pan at 375º for 15 minutes. Save 3/4 C. for topping.

Beat thawed strawberries, 1/2 c. sugar, lemon juice, salt and egg whites 20 minutes on high speed.

Beat whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff and fold into berry mixture. Pour into baked pie shell or crumb crust.
