1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. chopped pecans

1 c. crushed strawberries
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 T. cornstarch (may need more)

1 1/2 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, flour and sugar until crumble form. Stir in nuts. Press mixture into 9” pie plate.
Bake 375 for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Crush 1 c. strawberries. In saucepan, combine crushed berries, water, sugar and cornstarch. Cook, stirring until mixture thickens. Cool. Arrange remaining sliced strawberries in baked pie shell. Pour cooled, cooked strawberry glaze over fresh fruit. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
