2 cups sugar
16 oz can pumpkin
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt

3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
touch of milk

CAKE: preheat oven to 350. Combine sugar, pumpkin and oil, beat well. (Must be well beaten or will separate when baked). Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Pour into greased 15X10X1 jelly roll pan. Bake 30-35 minutes. Do not overbake. When cool, frost with cream cheese frosting.

FROSTING: in small bowl combine cream cheese, milk and margarine. Mix well with electric beater. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Frosting recipe makes enough for one pan of bars.
