4 cans of baby clams
1/4 lbs salt pork
7-8 average sized potatoes
2 onions (diced)
1/4 liter milk
4 oz. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot pour diced potatoes and 1 onion, covered with water - plus 1 inch. Cook until tender.

Dice salt pork and fry until crisp then add and fry 1 onion. Drain juice from clams into a 2 liter bowl. Add melted butter and milk. Add fried salt pork and onion. Combine contents of bowl to cooked potatoes and bring to a boil. Add clams while boiling. If too thin, add a mixture of flour and water to thicken.
