1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 loaf French bread, sliced 1" thick
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix first 3 ingredients in saucepan and melt over medium-low heat. Pour into 9x13 pan. Then arrange bread slices flat in butter/sugar mixture. Blend last 3 ingredients and pour over bread slices. Use all of this mixture as excess will be absorbed. Cover dish and refrigerate overnight. Uncover dish and bake for 30 minutes. Serve from baking dish. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
