Finely slice or shred 1 head cabbage(I prefer
slicing)
Put the cabbage in bottom of large casserole dish

Fry 1b lean ground beef with 1 finely chopped onion, mushroom, and garlic to taste. Drain off excess fat and layer over cabbage. DO NOT STIR

Combine 1 can of tomato soup with 1 cup tomato juice and pour over top of meat. (you can use 2 cans of tomato soup if you don' have juice). Sprinkle salt and pepper over top of soup mixture. You do not need a lot. Again, DO NOT STIR.

Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350º. Remove from heat, stir all together, cover with mixture of grated cheddar and parmesan cheeses.

Bake for approximately 10 minutes more for cheese to melt. Remove from oven. Let casserole sit for 10 minutes or so before serving.
