3/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
15 oz. can of pumpkin
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
2 squares (1 oz. ea.) unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture alternating with pumpkin. Fold in chocolate chips.
Divide batter in half. Stir melted chocolate into one portion. In a well greased 10" bundt pan, sprinkle 1/2 c. pecans; top with chocolate batter. Then top chocolate batter with pumpkin batter. Sprinkle with remaining pecans.
Bake at 325º for 65-70 min. or till it tests done with a toothpick. Cool10 minutes before inverting onto a rack. Can drizzle with frosting if you want.
