butter
spanish onion
garlic
peppercorns
wine
chicken stock
pomegranate juice from fresh promegranates
molasses
brown sugar
chives, fresh
pomegrante seeds

Directions:
Directions:
heat a sauce pan with 3 to 4 tbsp of butter, sweat the onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
add the wine (usually a cup of red wine) the stock,
the juice of the promegrante, molasses, and brown sugar. reduce to a sauce consistency, usally about 30 minutes on medium heat. As the sauce thickens add about one shot of Scotch or Bourban to taste, After the sauce reaches a thick consistency put the contents through a sieve and let cool for about 45 minutes. Used for Turkey, Beef and chicken dishes.
