2 c. firmly packed raw spinach
1 c. firmly packed parsley
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 clove chopped garlic
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves (or a small handful of fresh)

Directions:

Wash spinach and parsley; shake to remove excess water. Process all ingredients in a blender or food processor until it is a thick puree, but with some specks. Immediately toss with hot, cooked spaghetti or other pasta.
