I’m not much of a cook or a baker. I’m more of a heater-upper and order-outer. I would love to share some recipes with you, but all of the things I know how to make basically include all of the ingredients and cooking instructions in their name. For example:

Ham & Cheese Sandwich
BLT
Budweiser
Grilled Cheese
Microwave Popcorn
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Ice Cream Cone
Doritos

Although I don’t have much to offer in terms of recipes, I would love to contribute in some way. So, instead of helping you prepare the food, I though I might share some ideas on how to enjoy the food and each other’s company.

Eat together whenever you can. Don’t rush. Share your experiences from the day. Listen to each other. When you think you have done a good job listening, listen some more. Take a deep breath. Be grateful. Appreciate each other each and every day. Be honest, always, no matter how difficult it might be. Swallow your pride when you know you should. Say, “I love you.” Admit your shortcomings. Don’t say something tastes good when it doesn’t. And most importantly, don’t ever run out of butter.
