1/3 c. hoisin sauce
2 tbsp. sesame oil
3 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce (can use reduced sodium)
1 tbsp. fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp. hot sauce of choice (like tabasco)
1 tsp. or 2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
3 lbs. skinless chicken breasts, cut length-wise to make thinner.
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
2 scallions or green onions, finely sliced

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken, sesame seeds and scallions/green onions. Remove 3 tbsp. of sauce and reserve for later. Add chicken to the bowl and coat it with the marinade. Refrigerate 1 hour, up to 24 hours.

Preheat grill to medium-high. When grill is hot, grill chicken for about 6-8 minutes (reserve the marinade) until no longer sticks to grill. Flip chicken and brush with marinade. Grill another 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and brush with reserved 3 tbsp. of marinade. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions/green onion.
