1 angel food cake, cut into 16 slices
2 boxes of lemon pie filling, prepare as instructed on box
1vc. drained crushed pineapple
maraschino cherries, cut into pieces
1 container of Cool Whip©
finely crushed nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Line a pretty bowl or pan with 8 slices of the cake. Spread 1/2 the pie filling over the cake. Layer remaining cake over the filling. Top with the remaining pie filling. Cover & refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Spread Cool Whip© over the top. Sprinkle top with cherry pieces and nuts.
