1 cup dry oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 heaping tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
3-5 T margarine or butter
10 baking apples
whipped topping, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in margarine. If mixing is difficult, add a little more margarine. Set aside. Peel and slice apples. Toss apple slices with sugar to coat. Place apple slices in greased 9X13 baking dish. Put a few pats of margarine on top of apples. Sprinkle oatmeal mixture on top. Bake at 350º for 25 to 35 minutes, until bubbly on side of dish. Do not overbake or you will have baked applesauce! Serve warm or cool with whipped topping.
